October carries special significance as it dawns Breast Awareness Month. MLS and adidas team up to show support for this important issue with mi adidas footwear and a few of the leagues star players. As we all know, pink represents breast cancer awareness and some of MLS’s best made custom cleats pay their respect to this great cause. Not only is the effort appreciated, but the cleats came out really great.
MLS stars Fredy Montero (Seattle Sounders), Chris Pontius (DC United), Darlington Nagbe (Portland Timbers), Kenny Cooper (New York Red Bulls), and Teal Bunbury (Sporting KC) all use the innovate mi adidas system to create truly unique cleats to wear throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The players choose to customize the adizero F50 and Predator LZ, respectively. Each MLS star will debut their new cleats this weekend and for matches through October. If you like what you see, fans can go to the mi adidas site and purchase a pair.
